Ne.
Barva najljubših tangic je ... ?
Črna

How long have you been a Scout and what does
that mean to you?
I've been a scout for 45 years. For me Scouting is a lifestyle and having a lot of good friends. When I was a kid I didn't want to participate, but my father made me do it. After a while I realised I had a lot of fun and made a lot of friends. Nowadays I see that the values of scouting and my personal life are related.
What is your most important Scouting experience?
At the Australian MOOT 1986 I met my wife, who is also a Finn.
What are the main differences between Scouts in Finland and Slovenia?
The main difference is the amount of Scouts and troops, regions are much, much bigger, we have bigger budget ( 4 million euros). Because we are so big we need leaders that are specialized in only one thing. For instance we have people that are working only on International Scouting. Another difference is that the all Scouts are joined under only one Scouting organization. But in general if I compare Scouting in our countries there are not so many differences.
What do you think about Slovenian participants in Woodbadge course?
You are all open-minded, active and at the right place.
In your opinion what is the meaning of such courses for participants?
You get courage and self-esteem to be a leader. You test your skills of leadership, learn how to use new tools, methods, make new friends, get new ideas and share experience with each other.
As a member of The Educational Board and formal Deputy Camp Chief of Gilwell Park in Finland you know a lot about educational courses. What are the pros and cons of Slovenian Woodbadge training?
The basic programme everywhere is the same because it is constructed by WOSM. All projects have similar frameworks, we just use different methods.
